In response to the drought emergency response in Northern Kenya, WASDA has designed and implemented a number of water, sanitation and hygiene projects whose aim is to improve access to water and sanitation facilities for the communities affected by the drought.

Water trucking to water insecure communities, fuel subsidy, water points rehabilitation, Construction and renovation of VIP toilets for primary schools, training of community own resource persons and mass hygiene campaigns.
