The Somalia Emergency Food Assistance Project (SEFAP 11) was designed to address the immediate food needs for the most vulnerable IDPs (Including returnees and those affected by internal evictions), refugees’ and poor host communities in the districts of Afmadow  and Badhade in the Lower Juba  Region of Somalia from September 2015  to June  2016.


  • Successfully supported 240 households through unconditional food voucher of 60 USD for a period of six months.
  • Completed 147  households through unconditional cash transfer of 60 USD for a period  of six months
  • Rehabilitation of infrastructures (access roads, desilting of earth pans, bush  clearings) through conditional cash grants for a period  of six month whereby each  beneficiary received 90 USD.
  • Formation, strengthening of the village relief committees which are still in functional.
